SupportLine

SupportLine provides confidential emotional support by telephone, email and post to children, young adults and adults who have been suffering domestic abuse. They work with callers to develop healthy, positive coping strategies, an inner feeling of strength and increased self-esteem to encourage healing, recovery and moving forward with life. SupportLine

This is a tiny organisation which has had an impact disproportionate to its size.  At the start of the pandemic, recognising the risk of abusers taking advantage of their victims being trapped at home without easy access to support and the positioning of this charity which we had supported for several years, we acted quickly and pro-actively to give them a significantly larger grant to help them to respond to the additional expected demand.
